Well, with that attitude they certainly will!  😆

Just ribbin’ ya, ngls.  I surely don’t expect a DEA liquidation yard sale tomorrow or anything.  :fatty

I do believe that the country’s fed up with the pointless bullshit though.  People are tired of having their doors busted down in the middle of the night, their dogs murdered, and guns shoved in their families’ collective faces, only to find out "oh, sorry – we went to the wrong house!  We’re pretty sure your neighbor 3 doors down has a bag of weed, so it’s justified.  We’re real sorry ’bout that.  You should be able to fix that door for about $500 or so…".

Dismantling this giant would be no easy task.  Hell, I’d be tickled if we could just get them chasing the *right* drugs, instead of the wrong ones.  Unfortunately, it’s a lot easier and safer to cover yourself head to toe in what is recognizable worldwide as full-on military garb and go busting down the doors of otherwise law-abiding citizens than hardcore bangers.

It’s always easier when the enemy can’t effectively shoot back, and you are relatively freed of any repercussions for your actions.  They know if they fuck up, the lawsuit comes out of the public coffer, not their pocket, so there really is no feedback when they do wrong.  Shoot the wrong person, get a year off on paid "administrative leave", or some bullshit.  Go to the next town and get the same job, etc.

Meanwhile, somebody’s family member is *dead*, for no good reason other than LEO arrogance.  SOMEBODY is going to want to make sure they pay for that, and since the legal system is stacked, that route is effectively cut off too.  Given no other option, people *will* take justice into their own hands.  Cop killings have been on an uptick recently, people are fighting back.  The shield is not 24-hour protection, and people are personally vulnerable, despite what invincible cop bullshit gets drilled into their heads every day.  "Accidentally" shoot somebody’s kid?  Watch out buddy, you’ve got kids and family members too, and you just made them a target by your nefarious actions.

The only alternative solution to dissolution is to demilitarize these organizations (does the DoE really *need* their own fucking SWAT team, for Christ’s sake!?), and refocus remaining efforts on what’s really important.  Not trying to see how many people we can cross off the unemployment figures just ‘cos they’re in jail or "employed" on the public’s dime chasing harmless stoners.

Incarceration and conviction rates are not measurement units of police effectiveness.  Neither are body counts. :horns up

Thanks, talk of cop killing always seems to cheer me up

The seeds that have planted this particular thread piss me off to no end. Who is the DEA to step in and prohibit a business from making a dollar off of a prospective client that is involved in a business venture that pays its taxes where they are due? The state eagerly collects the taxes from said business venture. Let the business policy direct that tax monies be delivered by armored car only and where do they stand? Can said business put the taxes in an escrow account and decree that as soon as the government allows the payments  to be delivered via armored car, they will be dropped off  with a smile?  The government discriminates against the business as well as its customers. Combine this policy with the DEA policy of raiding a business  (blends) and confiscating viable product that is held hostage until testing is done in order to label something illegal, and what remains is a one-two punch that can hamstring and bankrupt a business before it even has a chance to speak in defense of itself. The cards are stacked in favor of the DEA/Big Brother. I am not an advocate of violence, but you won’t be seeing me shed a tear when  people  rise up and blood is s shed when sheep stop acting like sheep. This country  was formed in response to a government that overstepped its bounds. It was not that long ago; revisit you history books.

Our government is the biggest organized crime family ever and they hate competition. Especially as drug smuggling and the easy cash from illegal drugs is how many of the alphabet agencies fund their secret operations. If the MMJ  suppliers really wanted to stick it to the man they would create their own currency and tell the DEA to go fuck itself. They could partner with a local bank or even pool together and start their own bank. Instead of patients buying with cash they could go to the mmj bank or obtain a card through it that could only be used at the dispensaries. Real cash in the bank would mean the dispensaries could pay their bills and taxes and the mmj currency would keep users safe and eliminate most of the threat of robbery.  8)
