I agree.  There is no hint of actual justice or due process going on here.  It is purely a media driven racial frenzy.  It is bullshit.  The prosecution has a very thin case and probably is going to lose, and the media is making this a racial issue to drive up the ratings.
I don’t think someone has any reason to be fighting in the street and I have no idea what initially brought these two to violent encounter in the first place–it is not clear why there was hand to hand combat going on.  I dont think someone has the right or responsibility to shoot someone who is running away from you.  However, I still dont feel this was racially motivated–I do believe someone who was legally wearing a gun felt threatened but inappropriately used deadly force. 
Apparently the police are now preparing for the community reaction to a verdict either way.  If there is a riot or something to that effect I hope every single rioter gets rounded up and spends 30 days in jail to cool off.
