I think the Razer Edge would be a good bridge compromise between console and pc gaming. The $1300 price tag is a deterrent though.

Yeah, that is too rich for my blood… lol.

A side note for JXD 7800 peeps… go with the s7800b as people say that has a better chipset.  Oh, and their promo vid makes it look like it uses the same parts that are in both the PS3 and 360 controllers… but since it’s in chinese, I have no clue if they’re pointing out rumble and sixaxis, or just lifting actual parts.  Lol.  Gotta love chinese tech pirates.

Supposedly the Archos gamepad is equivalent to the s7300, while the $200 and much cooler looking Archos Gamepad 2 is on par with tbe s7800.  Have to look further into that later, as folks say Deal Extreme takes a month to ship….

The trick to being a good stalker is always having weed.

If they catch you stalking just say "wanna smoke some weed?",

If they say "no"… fuck em.

You don’t need that kinda negativity in your life.

Bummer, I was curious to see how you liked it. You’ll probably be happier in the long run though. I suspect they’re going to fix a lot of crap over the next year, and they’ll likely come out with a refined model at a cheaper price point if you wait. Btw – I’ve already seen one article on the PS4 mentioning the ‘Blue Light of Death’ or something like that. No shocker there.

Yup yup… the tides have turned.  1 in every 250 PS4s has the BLUE LINE OF DEATH… lol.  Haven’t heard anything bad about Xbox One, save that hooking two together makes your dashboard into an infinite tunnel of awesome.

That Archos gamepad is weird… a gamer would never put the buttons like that.  2 seems better in every aspect tho.

well the Xbox one has only been out for a few hours. The ps4 launched last week. Give it time..i know Microsoft can win the battle of suckiness..I went threw 6 360s,,,my warranty dropped after the 4th so the the one I use now I bout with hard earned money AGAIN. And it is awesome flawless for years..

I bet the first year is the same trial and error fixing that all console launches have suffered…well not Nintendo. Unless you count having to blow on the cartridge..i was ok giving Mario brothers a blow job once in awhile for all the joy they gave me  :weinerwiggle:

No love for the Wii here? I know its not 2009 but if I were to get something console it would be more for guests and family than me… most of the younger ones are 10 -15

For me, the Wii is all about Nintendo pissing on everything good they ever did.  Maro Kart was best on 64, every gen it gets worse.  Smash?  Utter shit after 64.  Gamecube had some great games, but uh oh… no backwards compatibility… buy them over at the virtual store.  Onlines?  Here’s a friend code from hell… sheesh.  I was kinda keen to get a Wii U, but you can’t use the tablet to control games even if they don’t rely on motion controls…

When I was in college, Nintendo was a multiplayer party machine.  So sad to see it’s fall from grace… and everyone sucking Miyamoto’s cock.  ("Oh yes, nobody uses online Miyamoto… or voices in games… and HD?  Nobody owns a HD tv…")  I blame Reggie.  He’s a non gamer douche of a fucktard, and when THAT is your representative… well.

Let’s just say I wish they would have gotten a stoner.  "Dude… Mario is like mad awesome… pass that brownie…"

lol True words, Aki.  The big N has pretty well sucked since the N64.

Other than perhaps as a piece of abstract art (the piano black is kinda nice), my Wii has been a completely worthless expediture.

So what you guys are telling me is that short of setting up my own Dave and Busters arcade style bar my relatives will be bored..  I guess its time to look out for number one this Holiday. "Here’s the PC, I’m going to the garage to smo.. errr get a beer."

I already replaced the ladies laptop this month with an awesome device, you would think that would be enough to earn the eternal hand job at least.

lol No, your family will probably be just fine JS.  Kids seem to like the Wii real well, and adults can have fun with it too, especially in groups.

It’s just not a system for me.  Other than the motion gimmick (that I have no use for), it just doesn’t have much going for it.  What few games I might actually try on it require an extra $30 for an actual utilizable gamepad rather than those silly chopsticks.  Just to get a real gamepad that still won’t compare to a keyboard/mouse in terms of functionality.  So I can play crippled console ports I can’t mod, on inferior hardware, in a crappy lo-res environment that looks like ass when displayed on an HDTV.  (Not that my TV’s that great, it was a ‘top of the line’ model… 10 years ago lol)

Add in that I mainly play RPG’s, FPS’, and city builders…all of which the Wii has a dearth of, and those that are available pale in comparison to their other versions… it seals the coffin for me.

No thanks.  I’ll stick with my PC.  :beers:
