I think Final Fantasy 3 from all the reviews of the system I’ve read. Still, with minimal effort you can load all of them through emulators. Target is probably trying to unload the old version before the Holiday edition comes out December 19th… but aside from the color and extra memory, I don’t think it’s worth $130… especially since you can throw an external hard drive on it.
As for gamers and old school bliss, lol, you’d be surprised. The Atari 2600 has a black friday spot in the ads… old school retro gaming is pretty hot these days.
I think it’s a mass subconscious response to the trend of much prettier, but in many ways much more sucktastic games.
Back in the days of single-digit bits of yore, they actually had to try and put some actual effort into making the game worthwhile, or nobody would play it.

:goodpost Spot on, EG. And I was the proud owner of a Coleco pong game back in the day. It was cooler because you could play doubles… :rock:
