And people wonder why I don’t go to amusement parks. That and they’re expensive as fuck…

I agree. If given the choice and I had to spend the money, I would do what I already do once a year.
I rent a Party boat on a lake and whoever wants to go goes. We bring homemade food and have
a floating picnic.

This trip ends up costing me about $300 a year.

It feels good to be running from the devil
Another breath and I'm up another level
It feels good to be up above the clouds
It feels good for the first time in a long time now

Cedar Point tix 44.99 online, 54.99 at gate. 179.96-219.96 for a family of four. Add causeway parking and overpriced park foods and it’s a hefty chunk of change. My wife’s dad usually rents a couple large tents, tables, chairs and a porta potty and we grill and do the homemade food thing. Turns out to be a lot more fun with the friends and family minus the driving to the amusement park and gas costs. Beer flows, recreational smokers congregate in the pole barn and family members that DJ for a living donate their time. All in all an economically feasible good time and no one gets hurt (mostly).

Both of these would beat an amusement park for sure!!

Yes those things definitely trump any trip to an amusement park any day

Obviously none of you have kids or forget what it’s like to be one. Amusement parks are good fun times. Freak accident.

They’re not that expensive if you know where to get the tickets and plan ahead. Yall sound like a bunch of old fogeys…

If iwanna do something like that, I’ll Just go to the county fair. Fuck of a lot cheaper. .. I  never had the extra money to waste on the amusement park… And my kid is only four months old.  Too young for anything like that.  It’s more a money issue than being afraid of the rides…

Not at all, lucky bitch went flying out of her seat, Flying!
And without any flight gear at all! Sounds like a great new way to croak.
Personally tho, if I owned that ride I’d be busy hiring pi’s right away to try
to find out if the act was really accidental. There is likely to be a very large
settlement here, specially as a witness confirmed that the deceased inquired
as to whether her safety equip was actually working. Even in the carnival the
workers will always stop whatever they are doing & physically shake the crap
outta that safety locking bar, if anyone ever suggested that it may not be locked
  down well enough.
