Hi Everyone,

I promised and update as soon as I was able, and here it is!  I had surgery early this morning and I am doing remarkably well.  I am accustomed to sinus pain (6 sinus infections in 4 months will do that to you!), so I don’t feel like the pain is too severe.  I do have pain meds and all my critters have stuck to me like glue.  If I get up to use the bathroom, change gauze, anything – they are all right there with me.  Three cats and a dog make good company when you’re not feeling well.  Two of the cats have snugged their furry butts up to one of my hips, and snugged both of their backs to each other.  Here’s a pic – they are too cute and sweet!

I have a mask-like contraption on my face with gauze in it that catches all the blood coming out of my nose, and it’s a pretty significant amount.  It’s normal for this type of surgery – think gushing nosebleed off and on all day long!  I am couch bound for at least three days.  Moving (even just sitting up or changing seated positions) instantly causes my nose to bleed.  My follow up is Monday morning. 

I get pretty stir crazy and and dislike convalescing.  Wish me luck! 

Also, if you have any ideas on how to kill time while stuck on the couch with limited mobility, please share!  Of course I know about this forum (haha), youtube, tv, and movies as ways to pass the time, but if you know of anything super cool, like interesting/entertaining websites, please reply with them!!
