HARRISBURG, Pa. – Two state senators, one a Republican and the other a Democrat, are planning to introduce a bill to legalize a certain form of marijuana for medicinal use in Pennsylvania. Sens. Mike Folmer and Daylin Leach said Monday their bill would help ensure Pennsylvanians can get medical benefits from cannabidiol, a compound found in marijuana that’s credited with various medical applications without providing a high. Folmer, a Republican who represents part of Berks County, didn’t attend a Capitol news conference with Leach due to the death of his mother, but he said medical marijuana can help children who suffer from seizures and cancer patients suffering through chemotherapy. Two Pennsylvania mothers of children with epilepsy, including a rare and sometimes deadly form called Dravet syndrome, appeared with Leach and said they believe it can help their children. http://www.wfmz.com/news/republican-democrat-write-pennsylvania-marijuana-bill/-/121458/23031870/-/3ku1n8/-/index.html
this is great news
Very cool this is a bipartisan effort, but it’s BS that it is only for cannabidiol. Can’t let folks high on that wacky tabaccy, no sir. Never mind the fact that prescribed opiates can knock you on your ass…
When they get done processing out all the happy it will cost twice as much (or more)
This is actually good for the kids but bad for everything else including other states that may use the same model. This isnt MMJ. In fact CBD oil is perfectly legal in all 50 states already so IDK what the big deal is here.

Well the way I look at it they might still have to legalize the flower part of it for people with pain. Some noid without the high wouldn’t help pain from what I can imagine. But even if they won’t legalize the flower part at least these kids are getting good treatment. So some positive notes to this
