So long as there are people with more cruelty than compassion, no.  As long as they can keep drawing a paycheck from being a so-called "drug warrior" as opposed to say, fighting actual crime, or, god-forbid, actually having to WORK for a living, they will.  And they’re gonna fight for that tooth and nail, no matter how wrong or stupid they may be proven.  Your basic drug warrior has -zero- marketable skills, they’d be SO screwed.

Some are taking the alternative of becoming ‘homeland security agents’, as that means they might even get a raise, more neat stuff to abuse people with, and get to bust down even more doors in the middle of the night.  The added bonus of getting full protection for whatever abuses they perpetrate under the guise of homeland secrecy is just icing on the cake.

Same MO, better toys, full protection, less culpability.  Same assholes, though.

Ppl used to have the excuse of reefer madness. Now I don’t think anyone really buys it. I can’t wrap my head around it, insanity to be a drug cop? 

There has been at least two times they looked the other way on me. Bless em. Caught 6 of us in cemetery in college. They asked if we were in a cult! Totally ignoring the clouds and general obviousitude. I’ll never forget her man, we need more like her.
