I think that’s the whole point. There are vendors, sources, on the silk road who are sending clearly illegal items via common shippers and the USPS.
SR doesn’t sell firearms anymore though. They quit doing that last year sometime and another branch of them broke out and started ‘the armory’.
Which as you can imagine, was just a SR for firearms, hence the name of course. They had everything from bazookas to grenade launchers. Wicked crazy.
Wasn’t around long though because admin wasn’t making enough on sales, or didn’t keep up with it, or something like that.
Like jones was saying, mailing something is just as simple as mailing a postcard. You put the correct shipping fees on it, and they deliver it. Simple as that.
You have heard of people shipping bodies to higher up representatives and shit I’m sure.

Yes it would be illegal, but so is a lot of things going throughout the mail system.
Only way to catch a gun, is an xray scanner, like they have at airports.
They do this with a lot of packages at customs, but not within domestic territory.
Would slow them down considerably, thus making a lot of people doing regular business daily very upset with mail taking longer.
Metal detectros would be overkill. Too much metal on electronic parts and such. Maybe gauging the metal somehow?? IDK.
So shipping them would be just like anything else really.
The reason they’re just not so easy to cop is because the one sending it would be in a lot more shit.
This is why it’s on the deepweb pretty much. Source has to have a source, which needs to be consistent, and hidden.
Hard to come by, and definitely not going to be slinging them on paypal, no serial #, and shipping it with a return of buyguns.com..
Unless you plan to have an honest reason to have an unregistered gun, it’s probably not even worth it really.

As a law abiding citizen the main reason to have an unregistered gun is so that if for any reason your registered guns ever get taken (ie: New Orleans in Katrina), or if you ever become a non law abiding citizen and commit a felony, you will still be able to protect yourself, hunt, etc. There are much easier ways to acquire one though without risking online buys and shipping in the mail. A great place to buy them is flea markets and swap meets. Its usually easier to find shotguns and old rifles, but if you chat up the right guy sometimes you can find good deals on handguns and other goodies as well.
