This is why I hate the fed govt and Republicans and Democrats equally. The problems our country and citizens are now facing is not due to one political party or individual. It’s because of all of them. They’ve all screwed us. They’ve all broken the system. That’s why so many Americans are just sick of both parties and anyone in our political system in general. They’ve pretty much all had their part in fucking thngs up royally for our country and now WE the citizens are paying the price. I say blame all of them. House, Senate, Congress, dems, repubs, tea party, white house ALL OF THEM HAVE CREATED THIS FOR US. We must stuck together as Americans and not become caught up in the rhetoric and bullshit about which side is right or wrong. Or who’s more right or more wrong. All that does is divide us and keep us from working together to better things and thats what they want.
OK, so curiosity got the better of me, and I had to read JB’s response to this. What can I say? Bravo, JB! I could not agree with you more. I’m completely disgusted with ALL of them, and the machine is clearly broken, so very broken. The Right vs. Left struggle is nothing but an illusion put upon us in order to divide us. A divided populace cannot direct their attention to the real problem at hand, and that is exactly what they are counting on.
Our Founding Fathers would have put an end to this ‘government gone wild’ scenario a long time ago. We probably disagree with the way we get out of this mess, but I will leave you with the words of one Mr Thomas Jefferson –
"God forbid we should ever be 20. years without such a rebellion.[1] The people can not be all, and always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. We have had 13. states independant 11. years. There has been one rebellion. That comes to one rebellion in a century and a half for each state. What country ever existed a century and a half without a rebellion? And what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it’s natural manure."
I truly hope that we can come to a peaceful resolution with our government at some point, but I become more doubtful every day. If we ultimately cannot, then I say – Lock and Load!
Sux Bawlz. Sorry bro. Let us know if you need anything.
It feels good to be running from the devil
Another breath and I'm up another level
It feels good to be up above the clouds
It feels good for the first time in a long time now
We the people created this mess through our cowardice and complacency.
And that says it all, TB. Our Founders never intended for Americans to be fat, happy, and complacent. To keep this country free, they knew that we would have to be well informed and highly active in the outcome of our own destiny. We are currently neither as a people, sad to say.
The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.
Damn seatbelts that sucks .keep your nose to the grind stone something will pop up eventualy :weedpass: the same thing happened to me over the summer but we had a meeting about this a few months in advance . So I was lucky enough to find a new job literally like 3 to 4 days before being laid of permanently .talk about luck
Sometimes an ar-15 and several thousand rounds of ammunition is the only way to solve workplace disputes and get satisfactory compensation for the lay offs.
what a dickhead comment to make. if you feel that THAT’S sometimes the only way to solve a workplace dispute, then i don’t want to be anywhere near a scumbag like you, not even on a forum.
enjoy your welfare check, asshole.
terminal lurker
It does seem to be the trend now to let go of tenured individuals and hire more part timers at low wages. Its a shame that quality and experience are traded for quantity. Employers also lose loyalty of the workforce and risk paying for injuries incurred on employees that are not as experienced in workplace safety. The tradeoff does not speak well for HR and reaps the consequence of a high turnover rate. Every action causing an equal and opposite reaction, as they say.
Just happened to a dude who used to work at selling me parts I use in my business.
The head accountant one day tells the office that joe was making $40k (no commision sales)
That was the end of that dude. I’m doing my best to never buy another part from them.
I do enjoy it. I enjoy buying drugs with the money you pay your taxes with. Oh how I enjoy shooting your hard earned taxes into my veins. Boofuknhoo crybaby. Leave the forum and don’t let the door hit you in your morallycorrupt bitch ass. Pussy.
Do One For Me Too!
I’m really sorry this happened dude. And for no good reason. I wouldn’t entirely blame Obama though. Unfortunately it sounds like this would’ve been York employers plan regardless of healthcare reform. As other’s have said these kind of tactics by employers, laying off long time higher paid workers, to hire more part timers that they can pay much less and are even more expendable/replaceable, are becoming even more common. I think a lot of employers just bring up Obama care as an excuse for this stuff. But That’s not to say there aren’t many businesses that won’t possibly be highly affected.
