Tibs, I am so sorry for your loss. Phido was a very special dog and a major part of your life. One of our great abilities in life is our capacity to remember. You have these precious memories of your best friend. Hold on and treasure them and in that way Phido will live on in your heart and mind forever. If there is anything I can do just let me know. You have a whole family here of bros and sisters that are here for you. You’re in my thoughts and prayers!

And insecure delusions.

I wanna feel the change consume me,
Feel the outside turning in.
I wanna feel the metamorphosis and
Cleansing I’ve endured within

I’m sorry, Tibbs. Losing family is never easy. 🙁

Sorry to hear that, Tibs. I lost one of mine after 15 years earlier in the year. Tough SOB that one was, and sounds like Phido was hardcore, too. He lives on as long as you walk this earth and remember him, brother. Semper Fi.

So sorry to hear about Phido. It’s always painful; you are in my thoughts.

Sorry to hear of your loss bro. I love my dogs more than i do most people i know and it always sucks to lose one of your furry family. Especially with the history that you two shared. Hopefully he’ll be waiting on the other shore for you broseph.

If at some point you decide to get another dog you should contact these folks  http://vetsadoptpets.org/ . They help place service dogs and shelter animals with vets through the VA. My wifes uncle recently got to save a service dog that was going to be put down. They have since become inseparable and since he is classified and trained as a service dog, her uncle can take him almost anywhere he goes.

Tibs I know this an easy reason to go off the deep end… please don’t dive into the Vodka pool… Growing up on farms we had the big dogs, Sheperds and Great Danes. The great dogs also live much shorter lives than us primates as tough as it is to accept. Loved me them big dogs! So loyal and friendly unless you were not their friend!. Cherish Phido in your dreams…
