What is a good one to use other than annualcreditreport.com?

CreditKarma is pretty good, but not real accurate on some results is what I’ve gathered from reading about it.

So what do you all use, the one’s that do anyways 😛

you are entitled to a free credit report from every credit reporting bureau once a year. All you have to do is go to experian, equifax, and transunion

I hear everytime you check your credit it goes down

Jones, there are "soft checks" and "hard checks". Applying for a credit card or loan is a hard check and may count against you in a small fashion, but repeated credit inquiries within a short window for any other reason are far worse. Credit reports are considered soft checks but will fall into the hard category if they are repeated frequently and/or within a few months of each other.

The credit criteria has changed over the years, even with impeccable payment history a large debt/credit ratio (like having a bunch of maxed credit cards) does more damage than almost anything else to your credit score. It’s all about formulas and predicting the ability to leach money like a good parasite does. A good parasite does not kill the host, or recognizes when it is dying and bails. Banks in general are excellent parasites who still do not mind killing the host when another opportunity comes along…

I use both of these since they are both free and compare the two to each other.
