I’ll post some pictures later today after work, hoprfully it will give yall better insight to my problem.
First and foremost, PC as in Desktop or Laptop? What’s the model? Usually if it’s RAM,CMOS,CPU it’ll give some indication of the issue like beeping, flashing, etc
When you say it doesn’t do nothing but you get lights, etc When you press the power button, do you hear any fans run or HDD’s making sounds?
I repair a lot of motherboards, PC and Mac with no video issues. I tend to see this issue a lot and it’s the actual GPU solder spheres that break down over time and crack/whiskers causing issues.
Would help a lot to know which model system you have to figure out the chipset. If it’s Nvidia, probably needs reworked or replaced.
Btw, Macs aren’t that bad when they poop out. Most of the time, it’s the Nvidia chipset causing most of the errors and whoever said to look at the mobo for busted caps, don’t waste your time doing so….

I’m going to put my money on the power supply.
Capacitors look fine, so it’s probably not the mother board. Usual culprit is the power supply, but there’s an easy way to get answers. Check your local places, Office Max, Best Buy, etc that do computer repair… big chains only. The fools will usually give you a free evaluation, especially if you use the line "I just want to know if it’s dead and I need to buy a new one… or if I can replace a part and get it going again." This baits the hook… they figure a little freebie evaluation will sucker you into spending big bucks. NEVER say you’ll fix it yourself… once they tell you what’s wrong, and how much it’ll cost… just tell them "Shit, I don’t get paid for two weeks. Guess I’ll swing by then if I can’t figure something else out. Thanks for letting me know."
Now the problem with trying this with those cheap computer repair guys (I was one) is that they don’t get paid hourly… but those asshat Geek Squad guys do.

Geek squad doesn’t do a real diagnosis, though. They just make something up and tell you to get a new one.
We get computers people took to geek squad ALL the time and the ‘geeks’ diagnosis is invariably ALWAYS BS.
Stuff like ‘You need a new motherboard’ when they have a bad power supply……..

Does the PSU fan spin? There is a way to jump wire the PSU to see if it’s good or bad if you feel confident enough.
nothing happens after I plug it up and press the power button. no other lights come on, no fan start to turn on and no beepimg or anything like that…
Not a fan of geek squad either….but I learned long ago it wasn’t worth telling my friends to stop going there since they of course want me to fix it instead. Of course for free too.
I’m pretty damn sure it’s the psu. I had the same problem. Luckily I got my PC running one last time, but once it turns off, I’m doomed haha.
It does sound like the power supply. You could see if a nearby friend has a compatible PSU that you could try. If it turns out you need to replace the PSU, make sure you get one that will be sufficient to supply all your peripherals and stay cool. That Dell case looks like it is very small, so heat within the cabinet could have contributed to the failed power supply. Last year, I bought a larger power supply and a case with six built in fans and it solved a lot of overheating issues.
