Takes the edge off–makes it tolerable.

Weed, Careful Posture, and regular adjustments/stretching help me a lot with my spinal nerve pain.

I have a pretty natural resistance to everything pharmaceutical, so I tend to go pretty high into dosage land.
I’ve never found a substance that actually removes the pain without any negative side-effects.  That includes Kratom, for me.
I try to avoid pain meds nowadays.

I have a very high pain tolerance as well, so I’m lucky. If I’m pretty lit and a little distracted I can usually phase most of the pain out.

Anything that causes me inflammation makes pain relief impossible.
That includes alcohol, certain foods, and other things I never seem to be able to narrow down.

Neurontin worked for awhile on the neuropathic pain, but the dosage was being continually upped. Lyrica is quite expensive and the insurance provider balked because the most common of opiates can be had at such decreased expense to them. Lovely.

  Ever try a Flector Patch?
supposed to last 12 hrs

Got about 2 hours relief from Flector. Pain is from 2 ruptured discs; my employer is self-insured and have been fighting everything. They lost the battle on the first disc and I just went to a hearing on the second last week. Getting a new MRI in the morning but won’t get results til next week. Already had surgery on the first disc and if I win my case I’ll probably be down for another surgery. Almost a year this has dragged on. Sorry TB, wasn’t trying to hijack your thread.

Good kava helps nerve, joint, and muscle pain.. Only downside is drinking a nasty tasting brew, and getting your reverse tolerance down… It definitely helps the arthritis pain in my feet and the pinched nerve in my back…

I doubt herbs would help but it just seems like there’s something out there to help you. Not a magic herb cure to end all suffering but to take edge off … Besides mj / blends. Not to knock the sacred medicine, I agree that will help. You can try cats claw if you will, when you visit, can’t hurt.

Iboga, iboga (like you can run to the store & get some)

This combination has helped others with similar trouble
Actually I just noticed that taking all my BP meds along with percoset makes my BP rise
by about 20 points. However when I switched to oxycontin my BP drops back down again,
So I don’t hafta be in pain & have a further bp problem, not with this sweet bottle of magic

I prefer kratom to pretty much any pain med as far as the buzz goes. Gotta make a nice strong brew and you’ll be set for the day. I do a few kratom days per month and they are always fun.

So are subs harder to get off than standard opiates? more like a benzo? It really sounds like it. Stupid AF for them to prescribe that shit to folks with an opiate addiction if it just makes the withdrawal more drawn out.

who knew? I always thought they prescribed that shit because it would be EASIER to get clean from in the long run. Gotta love ‘the system’.
