With my damaged cornea (healing up nicely, woo hoo) my doc prescribed a thick anti-biotic eye paste to use 6 6imes a day. I’ve been going to the eye doc every 3 days. She said she was refilling my presecription for the eye creme, and I could pick it up at the pharmacy. Ha ha, the Pharmacy said no, they cannot refill my scrip just 3 days later due to their drug abuse prevention policy. I asked them how can one abuse/get high from thick eye paste with antibiotics? I asked for a supervisor who said their was nothing they can do because of their drug abuse prevention policy. I said this is eye creme, as far as I know nobody ever got high from or abused thick eye creme with only antibiotics and eye creme, they said no, come back in a week, went back to the doctor in the same building, she spent 15 minutes on the phone with the pharmacy and FINALLY they said OK, I could pick up my refill for antibiotic eye creme, oh Idiocracy.

Are you fucking Kidden me I cant believe this happened to you jbmack ! youd think they would only have these strict rules only with the drugs that would actually get you high or were addictive in some way .at least you asked to talk with the superviser I would have done the same damn thing and to be honest if I was you Id be getting my scripts filled some were else for now on and id also rite the company a nice long letter exslpaining what you had to go through just to get your non addictive script filled that’s freaken rediculess ,im so glad your eye is getting beter though that’s really great news I was worried about ya there for aminute really great news though :beers:
