Hey guys – Happy Almost Thanksgiving!
I'm spending some good quality time with the family; despite having a terrible autoimmune flare. It's been a fun day of playing with the kids, naps, and snacks.
Tomorrow, we will celebrate Thanksgiving with a meal of jambalaya, salad, roasted fall veggies, and a pumpkin pie. Usually, we would do some sort of service project with the kids, but time got away from us and we didn't plan anything this year. I think we will go through our pantry and select items to add to our local Blessing Box – I know the kids will enjoy filling the box, and it's a good opportunity to talk to them about those less fortunate and how we should share what we can. <3
We've had a rough time during this pandemic, as so many have. I am grateful for my family, our (decent!) health, the roof over our heads, and the food in our bellies. I'm also thankful for ya'll and this forum. I love having a safe space where I can share my troubles and joys without fear of judgment or "one upmanship."
I hope every one of ya'll has a wonderful holiday. Now – off to smoke a little to help with this all-consuming flare. Thank goodness for MJ and CBD too! :stoned
