This MTG mix is a departure from the usual layout with Toxicmid and D-Phunk wrapping 15 minutes each around Cliff The Heads 30 minutes. The layout is (15 min. Toxicmid/15 min. D-Phunk/30 min. Cliff The Head/15 min. Toxicmid/15 min. D-Phunk). None the less a journey through breaks & bass that will shake the walls and rock your socks. This mix comes with a "Low-Frequency Warning" because they all brought the ((BOOM)).

MONKEY TENNIS GROUP (All things with a Breakbeat!)
A multi dj set created through Soundcloud? The game is fun, the set is unpredictable, the match is up to you !!

The idea of this group game is to mix and record at least three tracks (or whatever you can fit into 15ish minutes) leaving the last track to run to the end; then pick, and ask, a dj you think will join in (either one you know or one from the members list) and send them your three track mix (using SC, SendSpace, Dropbox etc) and they mix into your last track with another 15 minute mix while recording the set again, after which he/she sends it to another dj of his/her choice and so on creating an unpredictable set (This is a basis for the game as the finished sets can be 2 – 6 Djs or whatever you choose). The playlist is sent to the next person to copy and paste which is repeated as the set grows.
This game is ideal for anyone using dj software such as Traktor, Serato, Ableton etc. You can record in wave format to maximize record quality, but MP3 320 will make uploading/downloading your file quicker. Editing is fine but not too far back in the last person’s mix. Also track listing is optional, but please make sure all dj’s involved in the set are listed in order.
Keep in contact with the other guys/gals in your set and decide who’s going to do the Artwork and what breaks genre it’s going to be, either Nu skool, old skool, Psy, funky, 140bpm, D&B or even mixed.
The final set will be uploaded on the start dj’s soundcloud page (after which it is sent to the Monkey tennis group page). It makes things easier if each dj chases up the dj they have chosen after themselves.
let’s make this a fun group game that will stimulate healthy competition, bring out the best in dj’s, help promote themselves and give them a chance to use genres out of their usual box! Who knows, you could end up creating a set with a well known dj or producer!!
