The first time I ever got high I vividly recall listening to Black Sabbath’s "Paranoid", in particular the songs "Iron Man" and "Electric Funeral". I’ve seen Sabbath with Dio, and I’ve seen them on the Born Again tour with Ian Gillan. I’ve also seen Ozzy with Randy Rhodes. But I have never seen Sabbath with Ozzy….

They are playing Shoreline Amphitheater out here in SF on Aug 26.  Shoreline was started by Bill Graham, and was/is home base for the Grateful Dead family and related shows.
It’s also an outdoor venue…. Meaning you can smoke hella phat ass spliffs in the show and the security (which I know the head of) is instructed to allow herb smoking. Also, they do their own security, so no cops in the shows ever. The parking lots open early and people party hard before and after the show. Sound is SUPERB.

Black Sabbath confirm Full North American Tour

Following the overwhelming response to the initial announcement of just four tour dates, BLACK SABBATH have now confirmed a full 20-city North American trek. Launching July 25 in Houston, TX, the tour will include shows in Philadelphia, Boston, Tinley Park (Chicago), San Francisco and other major markets, along with the previously announced stops in Holmdel, NJ (NY-area), Los Angeles, Seattle and Toronto, ON. Tickets for the newly announced dates will go on sale starting Friday, May 3 at LiveNation.com and Ticketmaster.com.
