Vendor: Uruk-High
Type(s) of Kratom: Red Bentuangie, Red Horn, White Horn
Smell/Look/Taste; Red Bentuangie is brick red, the others more on the green side
How much did you use in this review: For each review I used my standard teaspoon scooper from Herbal Salvation which measures out at an average 2.5-3.0 grams depending on grind
Effects: Red Bentuangie – anxiety reduction, analgesia, compatible with nighttime rituals for sleep. White Horn, smooth, uplifting and clean energy, not much analgesia. Red Horn smooth, more subtle not in your face but nice tending towards relaxation tones with analgesia.
How long did it last? This is a hard one as I don’t really pay close attention to Kratom once its down the hatch. The Red Bentuangie sessions all ended in sleep 2-3 hours in so I can’t speak to length beyond that. White Horn kind of shorter 2-2.5 hours, which is very typical of white strains. Red Horn 3-4.
Would you use these strain again? Of course. I usually prefer Red or mid-level green strains so the White Horn was the sleeper and most pleasant surprise of the group. The Red bentuangie was as advertised and worth buying in quantity. Red Horn was decent but as is usual with strains labeled as such, had something missing to put it over the top for me.
Final notes: IF I had to rate these on a 1-10 with 10 being the perfect Kratom archetype which will never be reached, Overall the Bentuangie rates 7.5, White Horn 8.0 (and I usually hate white strains) and Red Horn 6.5. I don;t rate many things 9 or over unless they are in my all-time favorites . Folks, these strains are a hell of a deal for the price! Great bang for the buck, too legit to quit.
Caveat: Bear in mind my Kratom tolerance and expectations are pretty high compared to someone who is much newer at this! I admit I am a bit of a Kratom snob and this is very subjective, I don’t have a sound scientific method producing these numbers – yet I will say this: Uruk’s leaf delivers!
edit*subjective was the correct word not objective*
