I’m sure most of you have already heard about the DEA’s plan to schedule our beloved leaf. For those you that are unaware of the news, please read this entire email.

The DEA has announced on August 31, 2016 that they will be (temporarily) placing our leaf in the schedule 1 drug category on September 30th, 2016. This temporary scheduling will last 2 years. According to the DEA, Substances in this schedule have no currently accepted medical use in the United States, a lack of accepted safety for use under medical supervision, and a high potential for abuse. In short, starting 9/30/2016 our leaf will become illegal.

We know without a doubt that this is false and we can spend all day speculating on the reasons why this is happening. Instead, I’m asking all of you to join me in this fight to protect our right to choose, our right to have a say in what we put in our bodies. They are okay with us taking synthetic Opioids that can easily kill us, but not a natural plant that we know is completely safe.

All I know is that I am not sad or concerned about this.. I AM MAD AND SICK AND TIRED OF THIS. I’m sick and tired that profits $$$ take precedence over public health or common sense. Well, this time I‘m not going to just accept this, this time I’m going down fighting!!! I ask you from one friend to another; let’s fight this together and give them hell!!

That person is Karen DeSalvo.
We need to flood her inbox with comments. Then, hopefully they will mention how there was uproar before this Notice of intent was even published. Please be civil and explain to her why this is a huge mistake, how beneficial this leaf is and how it has changed your life for the better. Here are some good talking points that you can choose to use or not.
– It is not an Opioid (It’s an opioid antagonist).
– Natural leaf is very different from Synthetic poison.
– As a last resort, consider a different schedule number, most appropriately Schedule III.
