In your average american hospital –its true-very little bonding is allowed–hospitals here act as if the baby is the property of the hospital–not the parents. You
have to raise hell to do it any other way than the hospitals way–for instance,in Louisiana if you have a preemie or pre-term delivery-with or without complications-in a facility that gets state/fed. funding, the
baby is drug tested without your consent and you are as well. God Bless Amerika.
