It makes me sick that no one cares about this. We as americans are lazy and unmotivated. This would be grounds for a rebellion in a middle eastern country, but we are too scared, and do not believe that our own govt may be the bad guys.

People care more about their newest cell phone,what soulless celebrities are doing and what some douche you  knew from high school is saying on facebook–take away all the pretty,shiny distractions and watch this place go apeshit.

Unfortunately, i think things will get much worse and go much further in the erosion of our rights and freedoms before a large majority of people stand up against it. Although, when Grandpa gets snatched up by the govt. and detained without a trial maybe a few more people will wake up.

  I have in the past always agreed with your feeling,
      However I was speaking with one of them conspiricy theorists for about a hour a day
  last week and he says:"There are 12 families that rule the entire world. Together they
own about 7/8ths of the worlds gold. He says that these folks h8 the us & will crush our
economy financially, by re-establishing the gold standard throughout the rest of the globe.
At that point the rest of the world will supposedly no longer continue to trade with us, as our
currency will be backed only with a broken promise. He also promises that gold will go up to
it’s natural value of $5,000/ troy oz, instead of the gov influenced artificial $1250 it is presently.
He also says that when gold does go up the stock market will fall & our dollar will lose about
90% of it’s value. I was thinking when I heard that about the "New Middle Class"that Oboner
spoke of, who will be earning $250,000/ year… would really be $25,000 if our currency devalued
that far…..

Great post bro! I could write for hours on this. The only part im not in vast agreement on is the whole 12 family angle. Is it possible? Yes indeed. Aside from that, it is very easy to see that our economy is being run into the ground. Much like when the Mafia would "bust out" a business.The Federal Reserve has tried every trick it can to keep the populace calm and dumb to the fact that our money is growing more worthless by the month. Every new session of Quantitative Easing reduces our dollar’s worth. The govt. economic reports are all worthless when trying to get a clear picture of our real standing, as all the numbers are doctored and cooked and revised to the point of being totally useless. Other countries are well on their way to replacing the dollar as the world’s currency.

In addition to all of our economic woes, factor in the ever growing control of the government and it leads to a very bloody conclusion for a large part of the population. Once the stock market collapses totally and the govt. has no more magic tricks to play, the ugly truth will come out and be very violent. In my own humble opinion this explains the militant training of police, the huge purchases of billions of rounds of ammo for non combat departments, etc. etc.  This is why our government is using the media and social media as a smokescreen. I bet if you took to the streets and asked many of the rioters from the last few days about the NDAA they would give you the deer in head lights look……
