Deputies: Man on bath salts ran naked through neighborhood…
NEW PORT RICHEY (FOX 13) – Residents of a Pasco County neighborhood got a rude awakening early Sunday morning, when a 20-year-old man was allegedly running around high on bath salts, according to the sheriff’s office.
Devon Blake Gilkey was arrested and charged with indecent exposure, loitering and prowling in the area of 15313 Omaha Street.
According to neighbors, Gilkey could be seen running between several houses without any clothing.
Deputies found him in the backyard and said he was acting erratically. He apparently was slurring his speech and had dilated pupils.
He told investigators he had taken bath salts and the synthetic drug, "Spice."
Deputies took him to a nearby hospital until he was medically cleared, and then he was taken to jail.
