I have gotten many compliments on the setup of this forum, but not so much on the faded green color scheme.(Although a few people love it)
SMF (Simple Machine Forum) has thousands of pre made templates and color schemes available. They are much safer to install than modding theme code to get what you want.

Remember that we can revert back or move forward to any look SMF offers. The only difference being some of the links or buttons, but the main functionality remains the same. Kinda like driving your friend’s car.

I sorta like the current scheme, but if it were available I’d probably use some sort of darker color scheme, whether dark greens, blues, or blacks and greys. Easier on the eyes.

I agree with House, darker colors as they are easier on the eyes.
Take a look at some of the template demos. We could use opinions on those as they mimic a live forum.

Just my opinion! I have not checked them all yet, and when I do, I’ll pick a 2nd one!
I am fine with the color scheme we have now, but darker background, light text, I can see many would like this better! I am just glad to be here!
