I am strictly speaking about sciencefor…. I just noticed over the last two days that I cannot log in from a proxy, due to the sites content I find that really strange. It lets me from a valid IP. I have always been able to log in from a proxy, I just find it strange. Anyone have any info??
Thanks
I logged in today and it wanted me to change my password and I didn’t request to do that. Freaked me out a little and I just hauled ass.
Weird, i have noticed some issues lately.. I am pretty new to the forum so just making an observation, it just let me access the page.. Let me see if I can sign in… It let me… I just think that science does not like proxy servers for some reason, sometimes it runs slow and I wonder if the site is ran on a proxy of its own.. I bet that is the issue.
Does that stop VPN’s?
I’m assuming the legitimate IP requirement is to ensure compliance with something or other. They are the "source" and since they are trying to be a legitimate company, I am afraid the they will become a target of opportunity.
They do tend to supply things to people they don’t like, whoever they is.

Caterpillar: The mushroom, of course!
