Went to the orthapedic dr and I am not getting a hard cast and no surgery if everything heals right.  I start physical therapy tomorrow and the pain gas subsided a lot.  I really like tge fact tgat my brace is removable so I can shower and scratch.  At tge dr office he stuvk a needle inyo my knew and  drained 5 cc of blood off of it.  Ouch that was painful yet relieving.

How long will you be out of the picture?  Did the doc give you a timeline?

Don’t push it.  You want strong mends or you will end up with a weak spot that always hurts.  It is imprtant to be tough and do the weight bearing stuff though.

I actually was confined to a wheelchair for six months of my life.

They told me I would never be able to lift heavy or work real hard physically, I was nineteen at the time.

Left foot shattered, right heel shattered, six pelvic fractures…

It was horrible, I couldn’t get my shit hard for like a month and docs told me it may or may not ever return.. WTF!!

They had to go through my lower spine, nerves, etc. in order to get to the pelvis.

They could have easily permanently damaged nerves.

Thank God my GF at that time was a BAD BITCH and brought that shit back 110% baby…

Not to mention I had to serve some time while all this was going on, I had NO physical rehabilitation due to the STATE owning my ASS.

Two years later I am an industrial combination welder and I work HARD, to say the least.

Mind over matter, I don’t know how much longer I got in this biz but I am going for Inspection so that is my route.. I wont have to work as hard physically.

Just wanted to share a bit of my history and give you hope that it will just be a matter of time, this too shall pass..

Hello my friends.  My leg seems to be healing very nicely.  I went to physical therapy on friday and was already ahead of what they had planned for me.  Gotta be back at orthapedic office tomorrow and hoping to get a new soft cast/brace cause this one fucking sucks.  All my muscles n ligaments have gotten tight and lots of pain trying to stretch them out.  I’d say im on the road to recovery though and praying these bones heal properly.  Peace
