The forum had so many changes over the years that the mods for youtube and others were conflicting with the new SSL (https) certificate. After trying to repair the original database for several weeks it was determined the best approach was to rebuild the forum altogether and re-import all the tables from the original database.

What this accomplished was to get rid of all modifications and installed the latest versions of SMF and Simple Portal with no patches or upgrades.

This is like a new computer out of the box with no extra unneeded software.

We should all be able to see and post vimeo videos and youtube videos as before.

The biggest thing that is repaired is the who is online feature. That has not worked right in over 2 years.

You should be able to see who else is here and what topics are being read going forward.

I busted ass over  New Years Eve and now its 2:15 am on 1/2/2019.

Phew what a ride but we are back and fully functional.
