Fedex has never done me wrong, but justifying the extra 50 or so for overnight is hard, and so many only offer usps. Its just a bitch to pay an extra 20 and the package comes the same day a priority did, both mailed at the same time. Anyone ever actually gotten a refund from them? Its bs because the only way that you can is if they miss their deadline, but if the deadline is 3 days plus the purchase date how can that be considered anything but a really expensive priority mail. I think they need to be more realistic about shipping estimates and the map of the US and potential delivery times is a waste. 90% of the country should be getting first class in 2 days according to the usps website and I think we all know better.

Yes, if it does not show up on the ‘estimated day of delivery’, then someone is definitely entitled to a full refund. (Express that is)
The shipper will get the refund though, if taken advantage of. Not the shippee
That’s when the buyer can’t do much, but ask the vendor..
Hope that clears things up for some people :goodpost
And yes it does happen (refund).
They don’t mind a bit.
Not their $ 🙂
They base their ‘estimates’ on how many stops it makes. If it hits 2 sorting facilities before hitting your hometown, then 2 days no matter what.
Some people have the convenience of only having that one stop, almost always guaranteeing a one day delivery.
2 days for a lot of people. That’s just the way it works with their ‘mail flow setup’ currently. Not even the slightest bit based on parcel travel miles, I promise.
You just have to find out if you are the (2) day guy, or the (1) day, then make decisions based on that.
If you are the two-day guy, and get it in three – get a refund.
If you are the one-day guy, and get it in two – get a refund.
I hate being the two-day guy…

ALWAYS 2 days out here in the sticks-no matter what. 58.00 for fedex ??? No thanks.
There are 2 kinds of justice in ‘Merika- One for the peeps and the sheeps-
And one for the creeps at the top of the heap……….
going on 5 days here, and by the looks of it, it hasn’t even made it out of the warehouse to the sorting facility, just got home and nothing in my box, I am getting a tad nervous.
** Edit I just got confirmation "ACCEPT OR PICKUP" — then "DISPATCHED TO SORT FACILITY" so its finally on the way, I guess that means I got two to three more days of waiting 🙁
I am in Ohio and can pretty much count on two days first class from Florida. New Jersey is closer, but first class from there varies 3 to 5 days. There seems to be one particular facility in Jersey that is in some kind of time warp. Oh, and I know it is the postal facility and not the shipper/vendor.

wow, 58$ for a FedEx small box or envelope is like 2 or three times what I pay. Get an account, they are free.
Another cheapo service is UPS. Look at the delivery zone maps around you. Anywhere in the same zone is next day delivery even for ground service, and add one day for every zone outside of that.
