My mother passed away about month ago an she was single mother of 4 an now im a single dad with 4, but all she had to her name really was her car 2008 Ford mustang. She really didnt have any debt which is good, but I ended up having to fork out the money for funeral money i really couldnt use. So anyways im trying to sell her car which im going to list this week. I have title but its in my mothers name an she did write a will to sell car an use the money for funeral cost, but she didnt sign it at the end. Will i have issues trying toi sell this vehicle? I have three sisters an my plan is to sell the car an divide the money with them. A liite worried im going to run into issues any advice would be great…

So I am a little confused is the will not signed or the title to the car or both? Also did your Mother have a Power of Attorney (POA) or guardian enlighten over her estate?

Title an registration is in her name, no estate or retirement. My mother was very poor but was an awesome very well liked women who had a heart of gold. im going to really miss that Brooklyn accent, as she would say, what you guys fuckin retarded. when I was going through her things I found a will she wrote but she did not sign it…Basically she stated who she was an that she wanted the car to be sold to take care of funeral cost an that all her marbles were still there. An who was getting what out of her jewery. She gave me her 2 carrot diamond ring but I could never sell it an I believe when my daughter turns 18 im going to give it her. I think my mother would like that, I paid funeral costs already…..

Update : well things worked out I get to keep the car. My son would not let me sell it. 2007 Ford Mustang convertible. All I can say is tittys. Thanks for the advice guys… :rock:
