First of all Co2 extracted oil is nothing but plant oil direct from bud. The process is simple. The bud is broken down and high pressure Co2 is forced through it. The end product is frozen Co2 bound to plant oil. Once it leaves the machine it comes out as a frozen toothpaste looking product until all the co2 evaporates. What is left is pure oil that is already the right viscosity for vape cartridges. No PG, no VG, no additives or extra turpenes. If bud is used that is in the 20-30% THC range, the cartridges are 70-90% pure THC.
If good organic responsibly grown bud is used, there is no need to add turpenes because the real onse come through naturally. A lot of cheap cartridges are actually blends of strains and the company has turpenes for flavor and smell to fake the strain you are looking for. You can get these on clear net if you look hard but most vendors want a 50 cartridge minimum and anonymous payment systems. Some cartridges are duds(bad heat element) and most have plastic tubes.
