As hard as it is to type, The Galaxy Lounge will be closing on Tuesday Jan. 31st. I would encourage everyone to trade email contacts in the coming days. It has been a great ride and I will miss it greatly as I know you will as well.

I have collected $400 of which all will be refunded tomorrow by paypal and the other by mail. I don’t want to do the transactions on my phone as I have just got a new ac adaptor/charger for my laptop today…thanks to Acid.

The issue was not just the money but whether it was practical to fund another year with the dwindling participation and interest in TGL.  More lurking than posting, a lack of posting, people not claiming their prizes, and such were factors in the decision. Acid pmed me of his decision Monday morning saying he was tired and burned out. I can understand with 8 years of building and maintaining Planet X and then transferring us to TGL, funding the contests and helping members out all while enduring a painful health condition and recently moving and redoing a home. Thank you Acid for all you have done to provide this home away from home. Thank for you generosity. Thank you for being my brother. I love you and we all do!
