So i have screenwriting class that we actually have to write real original poems for and I’m terrible at poetry. I can type a 5 page report or a 20 page script in 2 hours, but I can’t write one poem in 2 weeks and I need 4. These are the only standards: Can not be more than 2 of the same kind of poem. No Haikus. Any length, any subject, and any type, except Haikus.
Seriously, if any can help me I’d greatly appreciate it. But, just thought I’d try networking a little to see what I could find. Anyone that has poems, PM or just post on here and I’ll get back with instantly for an email and we can do it that way. Please, if you can help, let me know. Thanks!

in all seriousness I am asking around for you..My 17 year old daughter has a notebook full of poems…but I am not sure you want to hand in poems from the perspective of a 17 year old girl…lol..lots of Justin beiber and lip gloss..lol

yeah it won’t work. They’re basically Mad Libs. They give you a pre written poem with blanks and you fill in the blanks. Bad thing is, my teach runs their scan engine, that model and words are going to be flashing lights everywhere cuz its out there somewhere. Some poems just have too similar lines. I did 3 of them and pasted them to google and found 1000s of sites with similar globs of words. Yeah I’ll turn shit in or nothing at all before I take a chance of getting caught plagiarizing. Tibs any of your daughters poems like decent enough that I could take old Biebs out, put some hot bitch, or even my mom or grandma, change some words around and have decent piece. Basically, im wondering if your daughter might have any good poemmas I could work on and maybe mold something. I just like that they’re in a note book haha.

Oh cool deal. And, I dont want to say they didnt work, but i just got to much to lose trying to forge poems like that. Ill just create some bad ones of my own and take a chance on them before taking a chance of being kicked out of college. The bad thing is, I pasted the words to Google and got tons of similar poems on different sites. I really appreciate the effort and you posting those sites, but unless they’re sitting in a notebook safely somewhere or were not posted on the internet at all, thats the only way I’m using them. I have to turn them in by this Sunday, midnight. (11-10-2013)

I have no good news ..hers were almost unnoticeable as poems. She has not grasped the difference between poem and diary entry..
