What you need to do is find the dough thats already made and frozen in seperate bags there sold at bulk type stores alot of restuarants and shit use em. All you have to do is let them thaw roll em out and then do what you want.

I have this place called My Kitchen. We always have Mozzarella in some form along with canned tomatoes or sauce. It’s very easy to make tomato sauce into pizza sauce simply by adding the
spices you like(oregano, basil, etc). A typical can of sauce is about .79-.89 cents. Add spices and for about $1.00 you have enough sauce for 2 large pizzas. You can get pizza dough at the supermarket for about 1.00 each but what we like to do is make French bread / Italian bread pizzas.

Slice it vertically and then into thirds. You now have 6 french bread pizza doughs from a $2.00 loaf of bread. So far sauce and bread we have spent $3.00

Grab a pound bag of shredded Mozzarella and a small bag of pepperoni, an onion, a bell pepper, a cpl big fresh mushrooms, etc.

Toppings can be expensive or cheap depending on what you like.

Preheat oven to 450°

Place bread on pizza pan, put on sauce, cheese and toppings as desired. Cook for about 10-12 minutes or when the cheese just begins to turn brown on the edges.

Pro tip* Lay the sauce on heavy because bread absorbs a lot of it.

Pizza will be deceivingly hot in the center!

Enjoy.

If you have kids, this is a way to have  them help make their own dinner.

I have pizza ovens including a wood fired variety.  Stop in for a few pizzas sometime.  Crust is easy but you should allow it to rise overnight in the refrigerator.  As for sauce, plain canned tomatoes are best, just deseeded and drained, chopped up a bit.  No spices sugar needed.  Add a few fresh basil or oregano leaves to the top or maybe a sprinkle of salt before you cook it if you want to.  Home made pizza is downright cheap to make but good equipment makes it even better.  Even without a real pizza oven consider investing in a ceramic baking stone and turn your oven up as high as it will go.  You can even cook a good pizza on a ceramic stone in a covered charcoal or gas grill–it comes out fine.

Pizza is like sex, even when it’s bad it is still pretty good.  Except Papa Johns.  Sorry Natureboy, I gotta disagree there–PJ’s pizza is rank, cheapo ingredients and tasteless.  And while Little Ceasars pizza is cheap, it is also really bland–given the choice I would go with the neighborhood local pizza over Papa Johns or Little Ceasars any day.  Dominos used to be better, but the new improved versions are obviously worse than before; still passable though.  There are some good regional brands around, like Grotto, Godfather, california, Uno, etc and for the most part they are pretty good as well, better than Little Ceasars or PJ’s any day of the week and twice on friday.

Where i live it’s either make it yourself or buy that garbage ass gas station pizza from Hunt Bros. Pizza Inc. The nearest pizza place is about an hour ride so we usually make our own or buy frozen.

Nope, we used to have a pizza place one town over but they went out of business. For some fucked up reason, the locals here actually think that the gas station pizza is good. There are some great pizza shops in Myrtle Beach though so an hours ride for bikini watching and great food is always worth it.

There is actually a style of pizza called pub pizza.  It is characterized by thin crust (cracker-y) with cheese going all the way to the edges.  It is popular in New England but it makes it’s way to NJ and other parts of the world.

Several national brands of frozen pizza sort of look like this but they are not really the same as pub pizza.  Still, the Palermo’s thin (special edition) pizzas are pretty damn good and several other brands come pretty close.
