I end up watching more foreign movies then not on Netflix. Lots o goodies! "Chaw" I think it is, Korean horror – comedy about man eating pig (if not expired).

American Zombie, Explorers, Timestalkers, Crossworlds, Spiders, Starcrash, Night Watch, Day Watch, Spaced (Simon Pegg and Nick Frost for the win), All’s Faire in Love, Todd and the Book of Pure Evil, John Dies at the End, Sgt. Kabukiman, Dead Heat, Unicorn City, Millenium, and Lexx are all worth the watching.

Now for the explainations. Starcrash is an Italian Star Wars ripoff starring David Hasslehoff and Christopher Plummer. It’s totally fucked and it knows it… there are no laws of physics…. and it is hysterical at points where you may think you’ve seen everything only to one up a new level of space insanity moments later. This is total fantasy… wrapped in a scifi paintjob… there is… a giant… FUCKING HAND… instead of the Death Star. Speaking of ripoffs, Sgt. Kabukiman is Troma’s version of Batman… and fucking brilliant.
Explorers. It’s the ultimate 80’s kids film… seriously. I don’t want to spoil too much about it, but it is… by far… the best movie ever. Oh, and Trek fans will love Robert Picardo as the alien in it…
American Zombie is a brilliant indie movie shot documentary style about the zombies having to integrate into regular society… really well done and worth the watching.
Millenium is another one you just have to trust me and go in blind on. 80’s scifi… and brilliant once you realize what is going on. Just trust me and toke heavy on this one.
Night Watch and Day Watch are based on the novels by Sergei Lukyanenko. Think Harry Potter meets Men In Black.
Spaced is a tv series from the UK and where the guys behind Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and The Worlds End got their start. A perfect stoner comedy series. Lexx is similar in the fact you should toke the fuck up before what I would call Gwar meets Buck Rogers. Plus it’s got lots of sexxors… even if it’s tv sexxors. Todd and the Book of Pure Evil is like Kevin Smith writing Scooby Doo with H.P. Lovecraft.
Oooh… just found another one. My Sucky Teen Romance is a brilliant mashup of Comic Con and vampire movie. Really fun flick.
