I went with my daughter to see this yesterday. I needed a break from my job search and it was 6 bucks a ticket for an afternoon show.
I have to say that this movie had a lot of potential but it had a lot of flat spots in it. It had its moments that were funny as hell but it did not ever have anything that hasn’t been done before and it was very predictable towards the end.
The theater only had us and what I assumed was a mother daughter that for some reason chose to sit only a few rows away from us and talk almost the whole time they were there. Fucking huge theater with us and them and they are less than 20 feet away WTF.
so a few minutes into the move Grandpas wife dies and he is horny as fuck and finally free. he walks by a strip club and a few other places and then somehow ends up fucking a soda machine in broad daylight in front of a mini market. The machine clamps down on his dick and it actually shows it close up as he tries over and over to try to free his dick while people laugh at him from all around. nice way to set the pace for the movie.
Much later in the film Grandpa’s scrotum is out and hanging about 6 inches and in this scene he is whacking into things and people with his ballsack. It looks real as fuck. at this point the chatter boxers made a quick exit out of the theater.
Although my daughter an I were laughing so hard we were almost in tears for some scenes, those were a little too uncomfortable and made it so you cannot take kids to see it.
This is why I am saying it had potential. They could have done a lot more with it so kids could have seen it and made a lot more money and it felt pieced together.

I felt the exact same way ..good movie. Not great..Johnny Knoxville kicks ass,,the soda machine scene was just awkward..lol
saw hunger games 2 with my 10 year old daughter on Friday. Pretty good stuff..a little hard to follow..luckily she has red all the books and filled me in on whats what. Great action.
I just watched this on Shrooms and 25c and I am still in tears, my belly hurts and as far as I am concerned this is comedy gold, pure genuis.
I watched the unedited version that wasnt shown in theaters.
