This is a long but fascinating read and gives good insight into current techniques and processes the various agencies are using these days, if you did not already know this. My take on this is shit certainly rolls downhill once the gov gets involved. Forget the arguments that the end user is immune or unlikely to gain to attention/legal issues if they are just another fly caught in the spiders-web, these govt spiders are hungry to prove that their particular agency is worth funding. No prob with making examples of buyers as collateral damage. Not trying to stoke paranoia, just a dose of reality and encourage others to use good sense. The mistakes are clearly outlined… focused on the SR since this take down is the best thing since sliced bread for Homeland Insecurity and the D eee ayyy
