Wonder if there are typical farms in the area, too? Ever smell a farm with cows or horses in the summer? I’d gladly take an MJ farm nearby over that… :weedspin

A marijuana farm in Pitkin County is trying to keep the odor of marijuana from bothering residents.
High Valley Farms has a 25,000 square foot greenhouse in Basalt, southeast of Aspen. The county has a “no-smell†rule that’s a condition of the company’s license.
The Aspen Times reports the county is giving the farm until September to get rid of the smell or its license won’t be renewed.
“We’ve demonstrated our ability to overcome many obstacles, but I don’t want to gloss over the fact that there are issues here. We understand and are very sensitive to the community’s concerns, and we’re working diligently to resolve the issues that come out,†High Valley Farms owner Jordan Lewis told The Aspen Times.
