I think someone is out to either shoot themselves in the foot or prove a point (like how understaffed etc) But my recent experiences with the USPS this time of year even compared to years past = miserable. FedEx and UPS moving at exactly the pace they advertise. USPS – well lets say one normally 2 day package took 7 days (4 business days) now one that from another normal 2 day destination is still showing as just leaving the facility, even though expected arrival was yesterday (4 working days since shipped). Even letters are being delayed 1-2 days but not too unusual for this time of year. Damn these guys must think that pushing off package delivery is going to make things better on Monday?
Sound like that Seinfeld episode where Newman quit delivering mail because he didn’t get his transfer to Hawaii and was stashing it in Kraemers place, bags upon bags piling up.
OK now that I have had my rant I feel better. I expected slow but this most def is the worst service ever from USPS. And I don’t know if I should blame the postman, our local PO or the whole damn system. Someone take care of these folks already, and I mean that in the most positive way, their country needs them!

I have seen a delay of 2-4 days in my packages also. I think it is just the time of year.
