Anyone hear about this yet?  I like it, k-5 free….Online video courses…I personally have done something similar to this in homeschooling WHILE still attending HS to catch up on some credits and It was actually easier for me to soak in my work while at home than around my peers…Not a bad idea he has tho, entrepreneurial skills into the course is pretty cool imo!

"Here, you and your children can get an education in liberty like no other. I invite parents to take courses and participate on forums — to get the education they never had. Parents do not pay for the individual courses that they purchase for their children.

Here, students learn the basics of Western Civilization and Western liberty — how it was won, how it is being lost, and how it will be restored. (Not can . . . will.)

Students also learn the basics of American history, the United States Constitution, and American geography.

They get two courses on free market economics. They get two courses on government, including a how-to course on reclaiming America, one county at a time.

Students get mathematics, either through calculus or statistics or both.

They get the basics of science: earth science, biology, chemistry, and physics.

They also learn how to start a home-based business. Here is the story . . . in under five minutes."

This curriculum will be free. It will be posted in stages, beginning on September 2.

You will not be asked to enroll your K-5 child. It will be available to anyone and everyone: PDFs and YouTube.

If you want to participate in the parents’ forums, you will pay $250/year. This is voluntary.

This entire site should be finished in late 2015. The courses will be posted in stages.

Check back regularly to see if what you want is here. The price is right.

Because this section of the site is free, we cannot afford to respond to inquiries. In September, if you want to get questions answered, join the site and participate in the forums.

I realize that some parents are desperate. They want information now. Understand: my staff does not respond to any correspondence regarding the free portion of the site.

In life, there is always a trade-off between time and money. This portion of the site is free. Therefore, you must pay in the other currency: time. You must wait until September. For some grade levels, you must wait for years. This is the cost of "free."

I have assembled teachers who are donating their time for free to give you this information. As Americans used to say, "Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth."

If you can get a free curriculum elsewhere today, take advantage of this today. Khan Academy is good on math. www.KhanAcademy.org.

If I were the federal government, I would promise you more. But then I probably wouldn’t deliver.

I think this could be good, I myself was home schooled, I like how this sets the bar a step higher then the school system, and also makes the student aware of the political reality we live in. 🙂 good find.

Apparently if you seek and are officially granted political asylum in this country because it is illegal to homeschool your children in your own country, when Obummer finds out you get deported back to be arrested in that country.

This is happening right now.
