The FCC is attempting to allow internet companies to begin charging a special higher rate to deliver your internet to you at a faster speed than they currently do. In fact the rate internet is currently being delivered here in the US is actually quite slow, even slower than in Estonia, even though we are paying a much higher rate for the slow, crappy internet that we are receiving. John Oliver actually has some factual information to impart about how the government is trying new ways to cheat us, the consumer.
