Holy shiznit… seriously guys. I usually pirate most of my games and such, but the prices on the Steam summer sale are fucking insane. Maybe in my old age I’m just getting tired of hunting down pirate copies of patches every few weeks… maybe I just need to spend some cash on SOMETHING besides blends and food… or maybe I just enjoy games more when I get them at a cheap price. *shrug*
Check it… I just got the Defiance MMO for $13. There’s a TON of games 75% off or higher, and a shit ton of games $5 and under… not to mention they’re rolling out new game deals every day until the 22nd. Unfortunately most of these deals are timed… like Defiance which I only found out about 35 minutes before it went back to it’s normal $40 price. Every 8 hours the community gets to vote on a game special as well, so be sure and check back with them multiple times.
Post your haul if you get something. ^_^ Not going to link it, but just google Steam Sale and you’ll find the site. Now I’ve got 11 gigs of game to download… lol.

Alan Wake is 90% off for the next day or so… $3. If you want the collector edition with bonus swag, not to mention the American Nightmare DLC… chuck in an extra buck. Great game.
So far I’ve nabbed Kerbal Space Program, Killer Floor Pier of Pain, Defiance, and Universe Sandbox… waiting to see if Dust and Elysian Tail, Secret World, and Mars War Logs go below 50% off. Castle Crashers is a steal at $4, but I already have it on XBL. Those interested in Orcs Must Die might want to splurge for the Franchise Pack, which is $9… but comes with a shit ton of DLC and Orcs Must Die 2.
Steam is awesome, but fuck pirating games. Fuck pirating anything for that matter. If i want something that bad ill save and pay for it
