I’d say a lot more effort usually goes into rationalizing their use than researching the potential downfalls at forums over the years..

anything that feels good  prolly not good  …  except

SEX
DRUGS
ROCK AND ROLL

Sex and blends both tend to make my eyes glaze up a bit, but only blends give me loogies. Only side effect from the rock and roll is a good headbangin’ headache and mosh pit bruises. ……and ya can quote me in the "stupid things blenders say" thread  :biggrin

DONE

Lol ok

I’d say a lot more effort usually goes into rationalizing their use than researching the potential downfalls at forums over the years..

Sounds like russian roulette to me, ima stick to tried and true ones, NUGGIES

It’s a tough thing.  I’ve been blendin’ up hell since ’08 and am A-OK so far, for whatever that’s worth (Regularly doc checked, and healthy as an ox!).  Lots of  others here whom I know are good company as well, so I’d have to say from my rather extensive (and others’ anecdotal) experiences would seem to point to that answer being a big "no" for what’s been put through our collective biofilters so far, at least in regards  to medium-term harm at this point.

I do think sensibility is the key.  Vape if you can, bong if you can’t, and be go easy when ‘roughing it’ with portable or makeshift devices.  Tars aren’t good, and we all know they’re in there.  Not as bad as from tobacco though, and much easier to moderate the effects of with just a modicum of common sense.

The real problem here is that we (as in "the public") can’t perform any legitimate "research" to determine the effects.  All we get is a note from our guv saying "we don’t know what the hell this does, so don’t do it or we’ll feed you to the corporate penal system because we say it’s criminal", which is about as uninformed of an asinine standpoint as it gets.

Still, they’re the ones with all the money and hardware, so best to mind our p’s and q’s nonetheless.

Any "research" will come from big pharma, who will be more than happy to sell us the exact same thing back in pill/shot/nasal spray 5 years from now, only it’ll be a new "wonder drug" and cost $100 per pill for the next 20 years so they can recoup all that "cost" they spent "developing" it.  Kinda like how there are people dying all over of this new SARS/CoV hybrid monster virus but they can’t even test for it because someone has the fucking virus *copywrighted*.  :hammertime:

But everybody’ll believe the hype because they’re shown the anxiety-ads spammed wall to wall in each and every commercial break on TV, and will gladly cough it up if they think it will cure their cancer/heartburn/bunions and/or antibiotic-resistant gonnhorrea (results may vary, consult your physician).  And of course, the commercial will tell communicate this via some nonchalant friendly animation showing a 0.003-millisecond flash of the 50,000side effects brought about by the processing and subsequent poisoning of the medication with all those wonderful "fillers" they have to use to bring it to market in whichever distributable form.

And it’s true that the tweaks that keep continually having to be made to keep ahead of the fuzz do increase our own danger, in that it forces the community to move on to alternatives before putative benefits and/or risks that exist for current gen can be fully assessed.  Lots and lots of research says this shit might kill cancer.  Logic would dictate that an aberration of whatever mechanism might bring about this could conceivably do the opposite.

Wow, you hit everything in a nutshell right there I get what your saying about everything having its side effects but you gotta remember some are worse, and it’s even worse when the sprinkles were inhaling dont have any well-documented info etc to atleast relieve some stress of some wierd shit happening, and Ive also been hearing some of these compounds are being researched for helping/treating cancer! Kinda mind blowing, but then again THC in itself prevents cancer causing cells, maybe there actually just not throwing shit together anymore and they had all this shit ready to go just incase shit like logjam etc happened.  Idk the spice community is just interesting man.

I have been leery of sprinkles post gen II, especially the fluorine terminated ligands.  However, the variants of the JWH, CB and AB backbones still seem to be fairly benign, especially is used only occasionally.  While it is true that long term effects of using full agonists of CB sites is not known, it is known that other CB agonists and antagonists seem to have mild and reversible effects, with little long term damage or effects on the immune modulation system.  MJ use has been studied for decades and there seems to be only mild effects on a long-term basis.

I don’t know.  My own feelings, my gut feeling, is that the blends are not a big deal used occasionally.  It is too bad blends were lumped together with bath salts–I think that sort of ruined things.  Also, unlike MJ there is no limit as to how high you can get with sprinkles–it is possible to OD on sprinkles–and you can build up a tolerance to CB receptor agonists.  Hardhead sprinkle/blend users building up impossible tolerances, vendors and blendmakers making progressively stronger blends to accommodate and placate the needs of hardheads made blends almost too strong for the average or entry level blenders.  There is no oversight and no regulation in the industry, and no standards or accountability so no one really knows what to expect–only the reputation of a trusted vendor keeps blending civil and sort of above board.

The guys who scare me are burning straight chems, like Seth on drugs&booze who used to smoke am 1220 and he did so much he didn’t need to use a scale
even if ya burn 10grs a day of blend that is nothing compared to smoking straight chems

Great perspective  brutha, If it possibly cures cancer where would  Big Pharm and Big Brother get all their money from then???
