If you have a vendor you trust, ask him / her to tell you if there are others in your area. he /she can be the liason, asking each party individually if they would like to meet another blend head near them. If they both agree, then each of them will give an e-mail address they are comfortable with (still not knowing towns of addressees) and they can take it from there.
BurnMan often thought about doing this to help ppl get together. He just never had the time.
If someone had the time to do this, more folks might be able to get together. Its cool to party with like minded individuals. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to pop out with a sack and not have anyone say "WTF is that stuff?" :passing-joint:
