Scamming seems the be the new America, and the well known scams like the United Way where most of the execs make 7 figure incomes are commonplace, but some of them are just more heartbreaking than others. The moral–if you have money to give to causes, give to the ones who actually give your money to the cause otr apply the money to the cause–not just pay the scammers millions of dollars.

The trouble is, even a lot of the organizations who rate charities are running scams–that is, a lot of the ratings are rigged to help whever pays the most and government ratings are there to help the government, obviously. Do what you can to look ard at a charity’s mission, and it is usually better to donate locally, directly, if you can. Read the link below:

I’ve heard that some "non-profit" organizations use donations to pay the employees. make sure not to donate to organizations like that!
