It varies state by state, and i happen to live in a gun loving state
I have 3 priors and should have my rights restored in a couple of years
I’ve met folks who committed worse crimes than I ever did who are legal to carry
Also anywhere a former felon can legally own a gun, that same dude can legally become a Federal
Firearms Dealer & start selling guns as well. The Feds don’t even realize this most of the time.
