I voted delete, but i can see where this is gonna get sticky……some….vvpeople may need multiple accounts

I voted for delete but then I thought of a compromise:

If we decide to keep the accounts, I recommend you add the label "aka *main member name here*" under the member’s name that shows up when they post. Maybe even change the color of the member’s name (I vote yellow, we could use some yellow here 😛 ) to indicate that it’s a joint account that is used by another main member account.

some members who have spouses might share their computer with their other half (or friend, etc). Hell, some people only have one computer so everyone who uses spiced on that computer will have the same IP address even with different accounts

This could be a problem if we decide to delete, how would we determine if it’s an individual account or a member’s second account?

I think we all know that there is one exception though…

MyManDan’s account should stay! his account has over 1,000 posts and he was one of the originals from tgl. Any originals from tgl should stay for that matter; unless their account hasn’t been logged into for a month or two.

are we just talking about vendor accounts or all members? If we are considering deleting regular members’ accounts that use the same IP refer to the large orange text in my previous post.

Vendors can be deleted if we are getting rid of them and they can have their original accounts. I think it would be a good idea to let them keep their post count from their vendor account (if they need to make a new account) if possible.

I have 242 accounts. If it isn’t you….then it is me…plus I am also "visitors"

Voted delete just no point to having multiples.

Before all  of these votes and posts. We  did a huge audit here and 95% of duplicate accts are gone. there are a few that are legit where 2 ppl from the same dwelling are members and therefore have the same IP address.
