I had a birthday goal this year. When I turned 32, I wanted to be able to do at least one weighted chin up with an additional 50lbs hanging from a dip belt. I weigh 160lbs so this would be nearly 210lbs of total resistance that I’m lifting. The only things I’m not lifting are my hands and forearms. I surprised myself and found that I could do two repetitions.

Here’s the video:

Not bad for a 32-year-old dude who is still technically 15 to 20 pounds overweight for his height. I’m only 5’3" tall.

My new goal is, for New Years Day, I want to be able to do at least 5 repetitions in a row in my first set.

I am always up for chatting online with some new and interesting people. I don’t really PM too many people here much. If you see this and you’re interested in chatting or are bored and such. Please hit me up. I LOVE conversation.
