after testing it with some buds I discovered that the unit gives off a burning metal smell, which can ruin the taste. Just add more buds and it will overpower the metal taste 🙂
Hey brutha dash did you burn the unit in? Most units need a 1hr of run time cranked to the highest setting to get rid of manufacturing oils, and paints etc. Give it a try.

When I buy a new hotbox I run it for an entire day on high. I don’t don’t even turn it off unless I’m leaving the house or going to sleep. After that I feel it’s ready to use. :smokin:

I did run it at 500 for a while but it might not have even been an hour. I’ll try that out today, thanks for the advice swisha!

that worked with mine. Wow after about 45 mins it started stinking up the house. Lol I had to run an extension cord to the front porch and let it burn out there for like 4 hours. Now it seems to burn clean.
