My feeling weather its shit or good i want to know . Just cause a company sends yoiu samples doesnt mean you owe them something or you should feel bad be honest bro. Its kinda tough for me to trust any review you do  now thinking that way. We are a family here I dont want to see anyone get ripped off. The reviews are for us so be honest. Hope that didnt come across harsh.

If a company takes criticism as an attack, then they consider doing something else. I personally don’t give a fuck if a vendor doesn’t like a negative review, I’m gonna post what I did, and didn’t like about it. Don’t send people garbage if you don’t want a negative review, very simple.

Why? I post honestly and have been really harsh on companies I review on Spiced.be

Just take a quick look at my review of DieselSpice.

However, if a company sends me stuff to review for HIG specifically, then yes – I’ll pass on sending that review in if I hate it.

No dishonesty there.

I’ve actually received lots of blends recently that I haven’t posted on – because I felt nothing at all (Midknight Relax 6x, Fire "Lifted", Burnman E2B, Big Daddy "Trainwreck", Mad Scents, etc.)

I can’t speak for all of those blends, but I can for 2 of them and if those 2 don’t completely wreck you then you, my friend, have a HUGE problem with blends and should probably stop….. that or go to strait sprinkles because you’ve destroyed your receptors… I feel bad for you

Different people smoke for different reasons, some for daily anxiety and some for sleep. The problem is if you want to get high everyday or if you want to treat anxiety (pain, ect) then you need to use it every day and your tolerance will show it.

My reason for blending is for anxiety but I can’t afford to blend daily so my tolerance stays relatively low. I’m sure I’d be up there with Dub if I had the finances to buy ounces and ounces of blends. Also, not everyone has the willpower/desire to smoke in moderation. I may moderate this forum but I don’t care to moderate my blend use when I have them lol

Actually Gonj, I have an enormous cannabis habit, that carries over to my blend use.

Everyone’s tolerance is different, and some chems don’t work on some people.

That’s why I didn’t post reviews on stuff like Burnman’s E2B. Many people seem to like it. It was BLANK to me, no effects whatsoever.
I know it was just me, so I didn’t post a review (there are plenty already for E2B). Don’t want to step on any toes here.

Everything is subjective, so take my reviews with a grain of salt. I am a true medical marijuana user (10+ grams a day), and my tolerance is quite high.

Nowadays I don’t drink alcohol ever. Not a drop. I no longer on any prescription medication (finally got off of my SSRI’s about 4 years ago). I don’t use any stimulants. Don’t smoke cigarettes. I basically don’t use anything other than incense and tons of weed.

Soooooooooo – most incense to me is very weak to me.

Dub is exactly the kind of person we need to do reviews here. I can understand why a mj smoker would not get a buzz from e2b 1x b/c it was developed to mimic mids.

Dub is use to nice strains that mids would never touch.

He gave a straight up, no drama reason for not reviewing some stuff and that was his choice. His reviews are clear and obviously given with a lot of thought versus some of those

"it was good shit dudes"  party on!  reviews I have seen, thankfully not here as much as other places.

ty Dub  :steamroller party on lol

Negative reviews are wanted and Vendors should want to hear it. When the review scathes too hard and becomes heavy handed it seems like an attack. There is a balance.

see my review for The Boss’ Blue Lotus. I didn’t like it because it made me nod off but I didn’t hate on the vendor or the blend. I simply stated my opinion. I like how you worded that, it makes sense and would encourage hard heads to write reviews too.

I think Pebz would be able to improve his blend with my review should he choose to take my advice. If not, at least others know that it’s going to put them out. I even recommended another product from the vendor that I liked a lot more; that’s one way to soften your blows so it’s not an attack but more constructive criticism.

So, hello everyone! I’m Jessi, yes the chick, and admin of Herbal Incense Guide. We didn’t shut it down, but we did upgrade it. I’m rather busy running a bunch of blogs as I’m the admin for way more than just HIG – but I figured with a thread like this HIG had better join in the conversation, especially since there’s some total disinformation in here, and some obvious confusion. I’ll just toss out there that HIG isn’t owned by any vendors at all…though it’s been kind of funny watching you guys accuse us of being owned by a vendor. One of our reviewers actually quit reviewing because he became a vendor, but that’s about as close as we come to any vendor, and he (obviously) doesn’t review for us anymore. Anyway, we don’t offer paid for positive reviews. All reviews are free, though it’s true we don’t post horribly negative reviews if we can help it, we prefer to tell the vendor their product sucked in private, and we give them a chance to improve it. People are unique, reactions differ, chem allergies occur, tolerance levels vary…these things matter.  Maybe this was the wrong approach, it seems like it from the responses in this thread that we should post more negative reviews and be more no holds barred about it. Well, that’s my piece, everyone is allowed to believe what they want but I just wanted to toss a little truth out there.

Edited for a few typos…I’m crazy about typos…

YES, no holds barred.  Give it to us straight, bad or good.  You can’t be afraid to hurt someone’s feelings by having negative opinions.  Like SQ said, if a vendor can’t take constructive criticism, he shouldn’t be in business.

Doesn’t sound like truth to me. You only joined the forum and conversation to defend your shill site. I don’t think anyone accused you of being owned by a vendor. But a good chunk of your reviews are obviously shills. I don’t care for your "guide", but the few times a read it made me laugh. I love how you interject on a review if it seems too negative. Ooh, forest mentions that there are too many stems in a blend, the "admin" has to disrupt "somebody elses" review with comments assuring readers that is not the case all the time. How about staying the fuck out of a review someone else wrote? No need to smooth things out with the vendors who are paying to keep your sorry-ass site alive, they can take criticism. And how about someone else mentioning that YOU receive samples and then distribute them to your reviewers accordingly? What the fuck is up with that? I love your random links throughout their "reviews" as well. I am sad that the members of this forum let them off the hook so easily. And in keeping with that, I can post walls of text too, I’m just too damn busy with all of my blogs…

HIG was a huge schill, was schilling like curt for incense companies.  Not a bad way for companies to get their info out there to folks though.  Just tell the truth to us though, no need to try and have us waste our money on shitty blends.

regardless of what people think of the site I do reviews on, I will not shill ever, and if a review is edited in some way that I don’t like and I can’t get it changed back I will let the people of spiced know as soon as I am aware of it. on a side note, I’ve had almost no intervention into my writing on the site, whats up right now is what I wrote, the one review with the sticks, I did disagree with a little, but in truth worm wood does have allot of nice potential in blends, this guy just didn’t get his into a powder so you hd to do that on your own first but that worm wood kicked a punch to absorbed allot of sprinkles and wasn’t that harsh when broken up.

I guess what people need to understand is the rating criteria we look at effects duration, and smell mostly, the texture and such of most of these kinds of blends is going to be very similar they’er mess production blends they use simple ingredients if it burns wel smells good and produces effects I find acceptable it will get  good rating, people I think are mad when I rate a company they don’t like or that looks seedy or w/e. I don’t refuse free samples neither would you and I’m not getting anything after I review that product, the thing I got for reviewing the product is the product, so if I get a shit blend I’m giving it a bad review there is no incentive for me to lie at all in fact the incentive to telling the truth about blends is that we become a reliable source from witch many people will visit and our popularity will rise meaning more free samples, in other words if I lie I actually hurt myself. when I get a really really nice blend like say midkights alert 6x "which should be added some time today btw as requested by midknight."  I try to express soem level of this guy is doing it right do it liek this, but  I know most bulk manufactures will always do it as stream line as possible and you know what that dosn’t mean it’s bad or deserves  lower rating necessarily, I have had "A LOT" of very good incense that was in a generic bag or mr.niceguy or  w/e and it didn’t mean the product was instantly sub par.. IDK I’m ranting at this point but seriously I don’t see the level of shilling going on that is being spoken of, I feel recently most reviews have been very accurate I wish peopel would buy the blends and see for themselves, before just saying we lie about everything. these reviews are subjective :
