well it protects the identity of the reviewers but I see where you’re coming from. It’s not like the reviewers need privacy from the vendors anyways.

I though HIG’s admin was a chick? I’d agree that they are probably related to Blend Galaxy and very likely Herbal Incense Hut. Both two of the absolute worst companies around. There is no amount of money you could pay me to say good things about this crap. The blends offered by these companies are less than garbage and the way HIG reviews them is shady and fucking insulting to their readers. Giggle and Pure Imagination are some of the worst blends I’ve ever had the displeasure of smoking.

She very well may be, I’m not exactly sure.  Another thing about HIG is that all comments need to be approved by the admin.  So in the end, the admin has full control over what is published on that website.  THAT is what I don’t like.

HIG offered you "reviews" of your products if you pay for advertising. They did not offer you "good reviews", that is a lie.

I know the Dub doesn’t lie, but I actually did like his blend that he sent me. I tried the xxx special reserve and felt that it was very mellow and did indeed give me desirable effects. I didn’t write a positive review for him because I wanted to shill for him, that’s actually how I felt about that blend. I liked how it didn’t put me to sleep like some of the vendors’ 1x blends do. Maybe I’m the only one who likes them but I also think a lot of people on here haven’t tried his stuff because he’s not a well known vendor.

I think the issue here is a tolerance related thing. I don’t smoke everyday so if you do you probably should take my reviews with a grain of salt. Walter White hated on Axa’s pinnacle blend until he took a T break and realized the blend was amazing but his tolerance didn’t allow him to enjoy it. It’s not a vendor’s fault for making their blends weaker, they are just catering to people like me who don’t need extremely strong stuff; I feel bad for a vendor that doesn’t sell bunk stuff when people go all out and say their blends are useless when someone with a lower tolerance would probably like it. It’s unfortunate that hardheads can’t know if a blend is actually bunk or if it’s just too weak for them to feel it.

My guess is that the guy who owns BDB is like me and doesn’t need super strong stuff to get where he wants to be. Because of that when he goes to test his blends he’ll approve a blend that he feels has a good potency. You gotta know the vendor you are ordering from is what I’m trying to get at.
No disrespect meant Dub, I always take your opinions seriously. I’m just trying to explain the problem here and stick up for the vendor/give him the credit he deserves.

Spot on dimebag, i must say sorry to everyone here due to my tolerance an daily use i wasnt able to to give you guys a review on Axa,BDB,and lhs because I believe i was in need for a break. So i will be buying samples  from you three over next few weeks. Its been a three days since ive blended an its  fucking killing me guys not to next day something. Today has been a good day feel pretty good, My prize from  pebz is in transit and that will be my first review cant wait for it to here. Yea much needed, not only that I dont want to put up a review thats not really really fair to the vendors. Im going to slow it down a little or atleast try lol. I seem to drown my self with my blends do to  stress an minor depression .

Couldn’t have said it any better. I’ve personally stopped from posting reviews, simply because they were too weak. Yet, they post them as a normal strength, well, it could be considered normal, if, you had 0 tolerance.

HIG is back up.

Unfortunately it now carries ads for Incense Today, a company with just about the worst rep in the industry.

I was told they were not going to carry their ads, as there has been drama with them in the past.

I brought Big Daddy’s accusations to the attention of the people who run the HIG blog.

I have no dogs in this fight, all i do is get free incense to review.

The only reason I get that is because they liked my reviews I sent them, and I sent them so many.

It is unfortunate that Big Daddy decided to bite that hand that feeds, but whatever – they can sort it out.

I don’t care anymore. And I’m tired of sticking up for HIG.

As far as seeing truly negative reviews on HIG, it is because I just wont post a review if a product completely sux.
I recently got a sample from Mad Scents.
It was 50% long sticks and stems, had actual seeds in the blend. No flavor, burnt really harsh. No effects whatsoever. I told HIG I would rate it a "0", but felt bad because the company was nice enough to send out the sample. Well, long story short – Forest posted a review of the product, and we just skipped mine as all I had to say was bad stuff.

So what do you guys think? I can be pretty harsh with my words, and I want to avoid companies feeling "attacked" by my reviews.
If I recieve a poor product, should I call he company out, or just skip the review for that particular company?
